Please join us for our next class of 1978 Pegasus Pathways event: UPROOTED AND RESETTLED: WHAT GENEALOGY CAN TEACH US ABOUT OUR FAMILIES Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. EST via Zoom Lisa Misakian ’78 will talk about her own research into genealogy, sharing it with family and the wider world, and how family stories are helping to modernize Armenian Memory Book traditions—another unique way of revealing our roots. She is also working with two childhood friends to develop a website dedicated to documenting and celebrating the early Armenian diasporan community of their hometown of Whitinsville, MA, which is becoming a model for documenting other diasporan communities. If you have started your own family tree, are wondering how best to share it, or thinking about using DNA to find lost relatives, Lisa’s experiences will inspire many new ideas. Time: Apr 2, 2025 07:30 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) Join a Zoom Meeting, the link for which will be sent to classmates via email. Note: This meeting will be recorded and available on the private 1978 Facebook page, and via a YouTube link which can be requested from Kathy Sharkey. |
