Thursday, April 18
7:30 p.m. EST
Tricia Paik, Florence Abbot Finch Director of the Mount Holyoke Art Museum
MHC’s Art Museum will be 150 years old soon, and the galleries are changing again as that anniversary approaches. Running a small art museum on a college campus presents both challenges (think the pandemic) and opportunities (think pedagogy) and Tricia is willing to explore both with us tonight. An experienced and engaging art world professional, Tricia has worked at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Saint Louis Art Museum, The Museum of Modern Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Christie's Education. As well as administration and education, she is a specialist in modern and contemporary art.
Pending permission of the presenter, a recording of this session will be available via our class website and Facebook group.
